Hello and Welcome!

This is the 1st Edition of the Listen to Ya Mama Newsletter.  It is our wish at Mama Whittle to keep you updated on the latest news about your favorite authors.

We are still getting our feet wet in the ink well of the publishing business.  As we grow and learn, we hope to bring on more authors and book options for you to choose from.

We began with a new writer, William T. Julian.  He brings Mama Whittle an exciting collection of supernatural fantasy/mystery novels called The Diviner Series.  These books will take you through the life of the Jernigan family.  What makes them special is the family’s magical gifts, passed down through the generations, leading to the crowning of magical royalty.

The series begins with the story of David Jernigan in The Diviner.  In this book, you follow him through his life and the events that lead him to become the leader his family needs as they continue to grow within the magical community.  It has life’s ups and downs, an epic love, magic, and mystery, but most of all, family.

We will be sending information about what's happening at Mama Whittle Publishing House to all of you who signed up for our newsletter on our website.  This is just one way we want to show our appreciation for being on this literary journey with us.

Thank you for being part of the Mama Whittle family.

Meet William T. Julian.

William T. Julian, Terry, was born in a Memphis parking lot on a hot summer evening in July of 1966.  He grew up in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, though he spent most of his formative years in Mississippi.  Yet his Arkansas roots called him back after he graduated from high school.  He attended Arkansas State University, where he earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in education.

Once earning his degree in education, he spent many years teaching social studies to students in the middle and upper grades.  After retiring from public school teaching, he began working as a trainer, providing online support to school systems in the use of student management software.  Upon retiring from this field, he found the opportunity to write and tell stories that had long remained part of his imagination.

Now working as a full-time writer, Terry has completed the first book in a series that will bring a magical world to life.  Stories of mystery and fantasy have always been among his favorites, so his desire to solve puzzles and his fascination with magic will be the threads woven into each story he creates.
